Dr. Yu-Hao Lin received Doctor of Medicine from National Yang-ming University School of Medicine in 2008. National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine was well known of training excellent humane doctors to provide service by solving medical problems in remote and rural areas. After medical school, Dr. Lin served in the army as a medical officer for one year.
In 2009, Dr. Lin underwent residency training in Ophthalmology at the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, which is one of the top three medical centers in Taiwan. During his senior year, he held responsibilities as the Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Lin then completed fellowship training in Medical Retina and Refractive Cataract Surgery. In 2013, Dr. Lin won the Gold Medal Award of "Jeopardy Retina Diseases Contest" held by Taiwan Retina Society in representative of Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
Besides general eye problems, Dr. Lin treats macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, and uveitis. Dr. Lin also specializes in children myopia control with orthokeratology and other modalities. In addition to the standard cataract surgeries, Dr. Lin is an experienced hand at refractive cataract surgeries.
Dr. Lin now services as a deputy superintendent at Brand New Eye Clinic in Neihu,Taipei city.
Outside of work, Dr. Lin enjoys jogging, swimming, and traveling with his family. He is fluent in English.
